A small sample of my work
Below is a very small sample of the work I’ve done over the past 2-3 years, which in all numbers around 1,000 projects. As a slight departure from the norm I've included a simple rationale to the work, and client comments where available. I hope this gives you a little insight into how I work and perhaps gives you a flavour of what I can do for you. Enjoy!

Progressive Construction
“Jeff took our ideas, expanded on them, and returned to us a totally unique logo; easily recognisable, with good clean lines, precision, and a logo which does in fact represent a fine construction. Just what we wanted”
Dean Osborn, Progressive Construction
Comment: A bold and modern design that reflects the ethos of the business. Important factors included a unique approach that had prominence over competitor's ‘safe’ designs, and a strong characteristic that aided visibility when used on signage and vehicle livery. The design itself illustrates ‘floors’ of building, that grow skywards representing both the nature and the progressive ethos of the business.
Tullett Brown
“Jeff understood that we are a young and modern company striving toward the direction of a traditional city investment firm. The final design of our logo perfectly combines tradition with a modern touch. It is exactly what we were looking for.”
David Shaw, Tullett Brown
Comment: Tullett Brown required a flexible modern design, suitable for branding purposes that retained a touch of the traditional. The business handles brownfield sites for investment purposes, and this is reflected in the organic tones used throughout the branding and literature. The 'linked' typographic element is derived from the essence of the business: linking investors with opportunities, and empty spaces with existing urban areas.
Bridgewise
“Love it, Jeff! I really do. Thank you so much! It is elegant, bold, strong, fluid, graceful, clever and very easy on the eye. It brings together motion and pace, and depicts people as I see the form as a body and the dots on the i’s as their heads. Well done!”
Faith Fookes, Bridgewise, Nassau, Bahamas
Comment: The essence of Bridgewise is the intelligent connection they establish between providers and clients in order to fulfill a requirement, as brilliantly described by their name. Eloquently described above by the owner, it was important that we described this connection in a unique dynamic way that also represented the caring approach and warmth at the heart of the organisation.
Poisedale
“Working with Jeff has been very easy. He is very patient and managed to quickly capture the essence of what we wanted with little help from us. He is an easy guy to work with and I would thoroughly recommend”
Ben MacCarty, Poisedale
Comment: Poisedale are a niche bespoke cabinet makers and custom joinery business based in the Dorset countryside, and the brief was to capture the two elements of their business: hand-made production utilising traditional skills and ethically sourced materials, and an upscale clientele that appreciate elegant and beautifully crafted furniture. The identity and website echoed these values with tasteful typography and the subtle oakleaf icon in the form of an inlay.
Crane Yachts
“Thanks a million, absolutely superb, a big thank you from us all! Appreciate all you’ve done – we’re delighted.”
Darrin Crane, Crane Yachts, Mallorca
Comment: Crane Yachts handle mutli-million pound vessels and required a subtle identity that reflected their love of luxury yachting. It was imperative that we captured the excitement of the business in the overall identity, and that the logo avoided anything that could be considered crass or simplistic. The coloured wave brings life to the communications, while the finished brand marque gently hints at portholes and the nautical theme.
Willett Technical Services
Comment: Willett Technical Services required a cutting edge design that portrayed their specialism in providing technological and ecologically sound solutions to a traditional building-services market. The focus of the design was to illustrate this use of technology, design-led consultancy, and an eco-friendly approach. The symbolic design captures this process of identifying problems and solutions, and the reduction of the carbon footprint.
Zenith General Construction
Comment: Zenith General Construction specialise in providing top-class renovation and conversion solutions, providing new space in residential properties. The graphic element of the logo demonstrates this addition of new space, with the red floorplan attaching to the existing space (the grey floorplan), and they combine to create the Z of Zenith. As a design that would need to stand out on signage as well as vehicle livery and uniforms, we required an efficient solution that was flexible but also unique in its appearance.
